Mica Lucas is an illustrator and painter from Argentina and now based in Barcelona, Spain. Her work has been featured in publications such as Surface Magazine and Fast Company. 

Mica is a painter by trade, combining both digital and intricate hand-painting techniques in her vibrant illustrations. From small scale illustrations and paintings on paper to large scale on canvas and murals, her work transforms still life into something alive and human again. Inspired by nature and scenes from ordinary life, she illuminates organic shapes and how delicate, smooth, sharp, and geometric they can be. By building a relationship between the worlds of nature and human intervention, like architecture, design and music, she is bringing new meaning to these objects we already know. Her cheerful color palette and realistic renderings bring us sensorial feelings and encourage us to live in the present and experience those feelings.
