Lydia Ortiz

Lydia Ortiz is a multidisciplinary artist from Manila, Philippines, currently based in San Francisco. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Teen Vogue, The Washington Post, and many more.

Lydia draws stylized silhouetted figures in bold, graphic, and playful formations. She places her distinct figures against bright palettes transporting the viewer into a more nostalgic and magical space. Through abstraction, her work aims to visually explain subjects and themes that are usually hard to grasp. She creates digestible images that allow us to see the world through her eyes.
