Gabriella Cetrulo is an illustrator based in New York City. She graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Parsons the New School for Design and has since collaborated with top brands such as The Wing, H&M, and many more. Her work has been featured in publications such as Ballpitmag, and Teen Vogue.
Gabriella creates stylized, female-centric portraits to explore what it means to be a woman–and even just human. She is drawn to women who represent the best and the worst in all of us, and this extreme duality is exactly what makes someone a compelling example of what it means to be human. Her minimalistic illustrations convey this complexity that is femininity, through the unity of organic forms and bright color palette. Equally inspired by vintage photography, Gabriella creates candid and timeless moments that allow us to look to the past as well as the future. Her lighthearted artwork catches our eye and allows us to reimagine ourselves and our surroundings.
