August Art Inspiration

Art at Spacey is never random. It’s handpicked and carefully curated to reflect the time and place in which we exist. When we curate a new collection, we always start with a vision informed by the world around us and the emotions, trends, challenges, and dreams that stand out as representative of the moment. 

For our August collection, we're thinking about the end of a summer spent seeking genuine moments of happiness — finding the threads of joy that weave through daily life even during times of hardship and uncertainty. As the season closes out, we hope this new momentum will carry us forward into a shining autumn with renewed energy and resilience. We hope to find that empowering sense of celebration and serenity in ourselves and our identities, expressing our personal style, and feeling connected to our environment after a long spell of isolation. 

Our new collection by fashion illustrator Joanna Layla captures moments of both personal reflection and empowerment. Joanna Layla's series shows women finding joy, strength, vulnerability, camaraderie, and confidence in themselves.

We were inspired by the golden light that infuses the images, which gives them an almost magical sense of optimism. The light represents the wisdom and hope of the women as they embrace their true selves and prove themselves capable of conquering anything that comes their way in the future.
